Based on 57 reviews You can tell that caring, attention to detail, and education are the pillars that form this school. High quality in every aspect! We highly recommend a visit to see for yourself! SethMay 12, 2026 Children grow safe here , emotionally and academically. ATIN RMay 5, 2026 I highly recommend Montessori House for Children. My child attended the school from 2021 to 2025. The owners of the school, leadership and the guides (teachers) were all really great. My son had several guides as he moved through toddler to early childhood and summers ( 2yr 9 months to 6 1/2) . We did not seek out Montessori. I was just driving by one day and thought the building was cute & interesting looking with all the plants/ landscaping so I googled it , we toured/observed with our son and voila! We got lucky that the approach was a great fit for him and MHFC was an excellent experience. There are a lot of pretend Montessori schools out there I later learned. All staff is very kind and supportive and has an open door policy where communication is welcomed & valued. I think that is a standout quality MHFC has. That helped us work through the few challenges we had while there. So important. It felt comfortable like family it was truly a community. We are still friends with families who share our values and interests ;so grateful for that aspect as we are not quite finding that like mindedness in the public school setting so far. I trusted the school/ staff with my son and had a peace of mind that he was safe there. My son did his final year, which is considered to be kindergarten and it was the best decision that we could’ve made for him to get the most of of his EC experience. He is doing very well in 1st grade public school. His experience at MHFC provided him with a foundation to love learning/school to be a curious lifelong learner and that is the most important take away from our experience there. We plan to continue during the summers for the summer camp. That was also a good experience for him. Special shout out to Ms Rujuta, Anna, Marla ,Lima, Maria, Rita , Elsa, and Elia, yall are the best and we miss you. M BFebruary 24, 2026 I have been read the book by Simone Davies for couple years, and it is my bible when I deal with my toddler. Right before we start the school the teacher gift me the this book I have been reading , I know I am in the right place. The smooth transition from home to school is more than expected. In the summer the school offer 90 mins class, so my son can spend 90 mins every week in the same class room when he start school, with my companion. And before the school start my son’s teacher gives us a home visit, she spend one hour in my house talk to my child, creat bonding with my child. When school start , the teacher is not completely stranger. My son was talking about his teacher came to our house for months. This is so important to him. And after enrolling before the school start, we allowed to spend 30 min inside the classroom, just get comfortable and give childern some freedom play. I see my baby walk to his classroom with confident every day, as a mum I am sooo happy. My baby learn how to dress himself and lots of skill I couldn’t teach. The teacher absolutely earn my fully respect, they treat children with patients and kindness, toddler and young children has unlimited potential to learn, but it need proper environment and lots of patience to teach. I wish I can keep my son home longer but I believe my child benefits more in school. Our children need to be treated gently and patiently , at same time have proper guidance in the first few years of their lives is so important to me, I love this school deeply. Debra NagyFebruary 19, 2026 We have been part of the Montessori House family since 2021. Our older child started in Early Childhood and is now in Lower Elementary. Our younger child started in the Toddler program and is now in the final year of Early Childhood. Entrusting your kids to any school is a daunting decision. Over the years, we have come to trust and appreciate this school, its leadership, and philosophy. From our initial search for a good Montessori program, this school stood out. And since then, we have only become more and more confident that this is the right place for our children. The teachers are a highlight. We will always respect and appreciate Ms. Rita's warmth, care, and support. Ms. Lakshmi brings the perfect Montessori approach to guiding the little ones. Ms. Ebtisam motivates them to achieve their potential. Everyone here takes the Montessori approach seriously. And we have noticed how they have helped cultivate curiosity and a love of learning within our children. The mixed age classrooms have also helped my children develop empathy and social skills that will equip them for their futures. No school is perfect. But even when we noticed issues and raised them with teachers or leadership, we found the response to be thoughtful and principled. The school is also expensive (what isn't expensive these days?) but in our view, it is well worth the investment. Sometimes schools are a matter of fit - what works for one family doesn't work for another. But I encourage everyone to give Montessori House a look and a chance. We are very happy to have been a part of this school and hope to continue the journey. Saif KazimFebruary 8, 2026 Our son started at this Montessori school almost two years ago and we couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. Ms. Rita was truly a godsend. She helped him come out of his shell, regain his confidence, and fall in love with learning. With her kindness, patience, and gentle guidance, she allowed him to go at his own pace while nurturing his curiosity and helping him settle beautifully into the Montessori environment. His first year with Ms. Rita was absolutely pivotal, not just academically but emotionally and socially. She met him exactly where he was and helped him rediscover the joy of school. He still talks about her often and loves to give her updates, which says so much about the impact she’s had on his life. Now that he has Ms. Yadira Hernandez and Ms. Amber, we continue to see him flourish. Both teachers are kind, helpful, and truly amazing. He has become so much more social, inquisitive, and independent. He’s started reading and is doing wonderfully in math, all because his teachers allow him to explore what interests him and nurture his natural curiosity. The entire staff is caring, responsive, and respectful. They call right away if something comes up, which gives us so much peace of mind. We are eternally grateful to Ms. Rita, Ms. Yadira, Ms. Amber, and the entire Montessori team for creating such a warm, thoughtful, and empowering environment. Our son is thriving, and we couldn’t recommend this school more highly. Alina B.JafriJanuary 31, 2026 We joined Montessori House for Children when my son was five years old, in June 2021. After months of research and visiting several schools, something about this school immediately felt right. I trusted that feeling so deeply that I bought our home specifically in this neighborhood so my son could attend. It felt like more than a school choice — it felt like choosing a community. From the very first days, we were welcomed with openness, care, and genuine warmth. Now, almost five years later, I can say without hesitation that choosing Montessori House for Children was one of the best decisions we have made for our child. I feel incredibly grateful every time I reflect on how much this school has given our family. My son has grown in ways that are difficult to fully capture in words. I often find myself emotional when I think about how these years — and this particular environment — have shaped the person he is becoming. Beyond academics, this school truly honors the Montessori philosophy in its truest sense. My son has developed independence, confidence, self-awareness, and a deep sense of responsibility. He has learned to read, write, and work with numbers, but more importantly, he has learned how to be part of a community — how to show kindness, respect others, care for his environment, and approach the world with curiosity and empathy. These lessons are lived every single day. What makes this school truly special is the way parents are embraced as partners in their child’s education. Administration, teachers, and staff actively invite families into the life of the school. Parents are welcomed to observe the classroom with proper notice, and throughout the year there are many opportunities to be present in the classroom, to learn alongside our children, and to truly understand how they experience their day. There are also countless moments to connect with teachers and other families, creating relationships that go far beyond the classroom. Over the years, my son has formed deep, meaningful friendships with classmates he began this journey with, friendships that continue to grow as they do. Just as beautifully, parents have formed lasting connections as well. This shared experience creates a strong, supportive, and loving community — something that is increasingly rare and incredibly valuable. Like any meaningful journey, there have been moments of growth that required patience and learning from all of us. But through it all, my trust in this school has only grown stronger. I feel complete confidence and peace knowing my child is here, supported, respected, and truly seen. We plan to stay through sixth grade because we deeply believe in Montessori education and in honoring the full timeline of a child’s development. Montessori House for Children is not just a school — it is a place where children are nurtured, families are supported, and lifelong foundations are built. We feel incredibly fortunate to be part of this community. Julietta PalyanJanuary 30, 2026
