Montessori House for Children & Elementary School

Now Enrolling Toddler - Elementary!

We have a "long view" of education.  We look beyond test prep and towards the development of the whole student.  Our purpose is to equip students with the necessary skills, especially social and emotional intelligence, in order to meet the future needs of our dynamic and global society.

Montessori House for Children and Elementary School ensures that the Toddler, Early Childhood , and Elementary guides/lead teachers are trained in Montessori pedagogy under the American Montessori Society’s auspices (AMS) or Association Montessori International (AMI). The School prides itself on the quality, educational depth, and talent of its faculty.

dual-language programs

Dual language education programs are in high demand for good reason. Children pick up and maintain languages more readily when they are exposed to it at a younger age.Montessori education is our school’s primary focus. And that education is enhanced by our dual-language programs.

Environmental Education

Montessori House places great emphasis on nature and nature education. The school is distinguished through nature education programs, including a Certified Schoolyard Habitat through the National Wildlife Federation, Eco-School (silver level) through ECO Schools USA, an organic garden learning program where students prepare, plant, water and harvest their own herbs and vegetables, and more!

Montessori House for Children is proud to provide our Montessori program to families in the Richmond, Katy, and Fulshear areas. Accredited Montessori education offers your child a wholesome and enjoyable start to learning.

Montessori learning, which is well over 100 years old, encourages order, respect, knowledge, and self-awareness from an early age. This proven method caters to the needs of the individual student. Inclusion in everyday learning, ownership in education, and freedom to make choices are just a few examples of this approach. The end result is a happy, well-adjusted learner who can successfully connect to our diverse world and to him or herself.

Our teachers at MHFC hold prestigious AMS credentials as our school is on the pathway to AMS accreditation.  With dedicated teachers and a welcoming environment, our passion is to provide meaningful and stress-free learning. One way is by teaching and providing the benefits of Yoga For Children. Additionally, we are an online Montessori school offering distance learning programs to students ages 3 through 12. We also offer summer camps, afterschool enrichment, and dual-language programs to suit every academic need.

MONTESSORI Children's House

The Montessori method suggests that the most important brain development takes place in the early years. At MHFC, even our youngest toddlers make safe choices and explore their interests. Our Montessori early childhood program introduces academic courses and respects individual growth.

Montessori elementary dives deeper into our curriculum with a mixed-age approach. Our students explore individual and collaborative activities, experiential learning, and moral/social development. With an emphasis on both imaginative and intellectual skills, MHFC students excel in emotional intelligence — from critical thinking to problem-solving.
